ice-cream for you? Had the best experience selling ice-creams at the PAB RSAF Open House this year. People who came for ice-creams are all smiles when they get their flavour. Especially the children. They looked totally delighted when you pass them the ice-cream that they chose. Despite the heat from the glaring sun, huge crowds and long period of standing, it is from the bottom of my heart to say it was the most rewarding job I ever had. What more, you get to eat free ice-creams! ^^v Now I love the Apache!!! The airshow was totally worth watching!!! The fighter jets and helicopters are way too cool. The pilots and technicians are very friendly. (My sis will say I'm trying to hook one of them -> whatever~) What I missed while working is the chance to sit on the hot air balloon and one of the planes! And!! I forgot to take picture with the planes! ): Ahhhhhh~ Did I mention we saw a rainbow??? Absolutely beautiful... I am definitely going back next year for their open house. With a CAMERA!!! what a day What I learnt today? R S A F = Round, Short, And Fat I was at the RSAF (Republic of Singapore Armed Forces, NOT round NOT short NOR fat) Open House today at the PAB (Paya Lebar Air Base) stationed so near to the fighter planes selling Wall's ice-creams. There were loads of pilots and technicians walking around, After ruling out those who like to 'act cool', there are not that many "shuai ge" around. And those few that I spotted, either did not like to eat ice-cream or behave very queerly. Lots of familiar faces around too. Too bad only managed to recognize a few only.  Directly after, I met up with another friend to go for the COMEX (Computer Exhibition) Fair at Suntec City. It is really what the Chinese call 'People Mountain People Sea'!!!! There is difficulty even to walk. My biggest reward for going: new inner ear ear piece, free cable wrap, poster, signature and picture with Nat Ho!!! afternoon nap Had the weirdest dream ever. In it she happened to see his photo online and decided to show them to me. And then there she was expecting me to have some kind of reaction. Of course the pictures traumatized me entirely. But I felt there was no need to show anyone. I vividly remember the pain that seized within while I smiled so widely and told her something along the line of I'm okay. Hahaha~ I'll be fine. in my neighbourhood Random Talks: I was at the coffee shop watching soccer late Saturday night when I overheard a portion of a conversation between two nationals - a Korean and a Chinese. I think it started when Everton scored... China : FRAKE! Korea : What?!!?!? China : Frake. Korea : How do you spell it?!!??!! China : F-R-E-A-K. Frake. Korea : That's 'Freak'. China : Yeah, that's what I said. Frake. Korea : CRAP! (!@#$%^&*) Random Sights: Pay particular attention to what is displayed on the screen of this AXS Station in the vicinity of my house... Can't see what is on the screen? It's okay... I took a closeup shot! HELP!!! INTRUDER ALERT!!!!! Hahahaha... Wonder who was the smart ass who tried to hack the system... best time of the semester It has been a very fruitful week in school indeed!!! Cannot imagine what school life will be like without On top of 2 bottles of Coke Zero, there was also a free Come to think of it there was also MSE Day which was also very enjoyable! There was Oh ya oh ya... The MusicJazz performance outside OCBC was goosebump raising. There was also 郭静 concert last night in school. I went thinking it will be just another pretty face, but she Of course all these would be boring if you have to do them alone. Thus must thank my goodie bag kaki - Huiqi and Huiyu. Haha... This time there's a Fish missing from the goodie bag squad. happy family Everything that happened this morning felt so unreal. Up to the little details, it was as if I was living in a dream. Or should I say it was a dream come true? It's started out as another usual Sunday morning prayer. After which, very unusually, we managed to have breakfast together in peace. So happy, any outsiders who see us would think, "What a happy family." The lunch eventually led to catching a movie at the theatre. It has been really long since all of us did something together. A warm cosy feeling that will go "Poof!" anytime and disappear again. As the pendulum continues onwards in motion, today may just be a conclusion, a final wrap-up, to end the recent unhappiness in goodwill. The "If today was really a dream, I hope I never wake up..." is so NOT applicable. From now on, no matter what happens, I'm glad I'll have today to remember. week 1 trama First week in school and I already feel the heat. Compared to last few semesters, the workload for this semester is greater. On top of that I am hoping to clear more electives. Nothing high happening except for checking out the new faces (To Ah Mel: males and females included) around school. 梁文福 mentioned a few things in lesson just now which I was able to connect with. I think he is one hip lecturer that students will be able to find themselves connecting with. He knows all the paparazzi news that some even I don't know.
